| Description of the software | Selecting the most appropriate pipes for water distribution and sewerage systems poses a formidable challenge given the extensive variety in materials, classes, and diameters available. Addressing this complexity, CSIR_NEERI has developed the user-friendly and lightweight software, 'PipeSelect'. This innovative tool incorporates a comprehensive database featuring over 10+ pipe materials, classes, and diameters. 'PipeSelect' aims to facilitate optimal pipe selection by considering key factors such as water supply and sewerage system objectives, pressure requirements, and environmental conditions. The software not only streamlines the decision-making process but also provides valuable cost estimation for the design period, accounting for various parameters like material type, class, diameter, pressure rating, and associated 2 costs. In essence, 'PipeSelect' emerges as an indispensable resource for ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of water distribution and sewerage systems. |
